How We Got the Timber for Our Island House! - (Week 17)
This week on our island homestead build, we finally get our hands on the timber that will become our future home. We head into the bush to watch local timber being milled into boards, giving us a firsthand look at the incredible work that goes into producing building materials here in Vanuatu. Back at the house site, the build continues as we make more progress on the block work and move one step closer to turning our dream into reality. Along the way we share some of the island lifestyle, enjoy local food, experience traditional dancing, and continue working on our long boat restoration project with a fresh repaint. Life on a remote island is never just about building. Every day brings new challenges, new experiences, and plenty of adventure. Thanks for following our journey as we build our island home from the ground up. If you enjoy the video, don't forget to like, subscribe, and join us for the next stage of the build!
